Bei der Herstellung von Zahnrädern erzeugt die Werkzeugmaschine Schwingungen, die zu Ungenauigkeiten im Herstellungsprozess führen.
Um die Resonanzen (Schwingungen) zu beseitigen wird auf eine aktive Schwingungsdämpfung gesetzt, die Gegenkräfte auf die Maschine erzeugt. Dafür wird ein Echtzeit-Regelungssystem eingesetzt, die MSX-Box, damit die Gegenkräfte den Schwingungen kontinuierlich angepasst werden. Hierfür erfasst die Vibrationsmesskarte APCI-3600, die sich in der MSX-Box befindet, die Schwingungswerte mittels Piezosensoren und verrechnet die Werte, um anschließend analoge Werte auszugeben, welche die Aktoren zur Schwingungsdämpfung ansteuern.
