Exakte Positionierung eines Magnetresonanztomographen (MRT)

Aufgabe

Der Tisch eines Magnetresonanztomographen (MRT) für 3D-Scans muss exakt positioniert werden, um die Bilder den einzelnen Positionen zuordnen zu können. Eine Referenzfahrt ist nicht möglich, weil es zu erheblichen Zeitverzögerungen nach dem Einschalten des MRT kommen würde.

Lösung

Um eine genaue Positionierung des MRT-Tisches sicherstellen zu können, wird als erstes eine Tabelle mit verschiedenen Körpergrößen und den ungefähren Positionen bzw. Messbereichen der diversen Körperteile erstellt. Liegt ein Mensch auf dem MRT-Tisch wird die Position des gewünschten Körperteils auf Basis der Tabelle angefahren. Die Achsbewegung übernimmt die APCI-1710 mit SSI-Geber-Anschluss (6 Geber für den MRT-Tisch) sowie PWM (Ansteuerung von Magnetventilen für die Stickstoffkühlung der Magnete). Dann wird der Scan-Vorgang gestartet. Über die vorgegebene Geschwindigkeit ermittelt die APCI-1710 die Position für die Beendigung des Scan-Vorgangs. Manuelle Korrekturen der Position zu Scan-Beginn und -Ende ergeben sich durch die Soll/Ist-Situation. Die hohe Präzision der Positionierung ermöglicht eine genaue Zuordnung der gescannten Bilder. Über die digitalen E/A der Karte werden die Motoren zur Bewegung des MRT-Tisches angesteuert.
