ADDI-DATA has developped a new driver generation: the ADDI-DATA Multiarchitecture Device Drivers 32-/64-bit for x86/AMD64.

These drivers are adequate for:

64-bit applications (up from Windows 7)
New 32-bit applications (up from Windows 7) that are to be ported to 64-bit in the future

These drivers are not adequate for:

Existing 32-bit applications (Windows XP/7), that were installed with ADDIREG.Please use our driver ADDI-DATA W32-Bit Driver for x86

Porting from 32-bit to 64-bit application

CASE 1: NO COMPILING

You want to execute an existing 32-bit application under Windows 64-bit without any changes, and thus without a compilation :

- Boards without ADDIPack: APCIe-1500, APCIe-/CPCIs-1711, APCI-/CPCI-1500, APCI-/CPCI-1710, APCI-/CPCI-3001, APCI-/CPCI-3120

Please use our multi-architecture drivers.

- Digital boards with ADDIPack 64-Bit functions

Please use our multi-architecture drivers. Then install the new version of our ADDIPack 64-bit, which includes the compliant DLL ("ADDIDATA.dll"). To use it, you need to start the "Virtual Board Manager" (see "Installation instructions" on the manuals download page).

- Further boards with ADDIPack 64-Bit functions

Please use our multi-architecture drivers. You will find herafter specific ADDI-DATA DLLs. Please note that some functions of the board may not be supported. The available functions are listed in a "readme" file. Copy the compliant DLL (“ADDIDATA.dll”) in the directory "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" or in the application directory.

CASE 2: WITH COMPILING

You want to execute an existing 32-bit application under Windows 64-bit with some changes, and thus with a compilation :

- Replace the software functions of the "ADDI-DATA W32-Bit Driver for x86" driver in your application by the functions of the "ADDI-DATA Multiarchitecture Device Drivers 32-/64-Bit for x86/AMD64" driver.
